Your audiobook and recognized text stay on the device during caption generation.

Synchronized captions

The text works like subtitles for your audiobook, following the current passage as it plays.

Your transcript file

Audimore keeps the working transcript locally and exports a VTT copy to a folder you choose.

What to expect.

On-device transcription avoids sending the book away, but it still requires local processing.

  • Caption generation currently supports English.
  • A transcription model must be downloaded before local processing can begin.
  • Speed and accuracy depend on the recording and the Android device.
  • You can also attach an existing VTT or SRT transcript.

Listening and reading questions.

Can I read and listen to an audiobook at the same time?

Yes. Audimore keeps the generated text synchronized with playback so you can follow the current passage or tap another passage to jump there.

Do I need to provide an ebook or transcript?

No. Audimore can create synchronized English captions from the audiobook on your phone. If you already have a transcript, you can attach a VTT or SRT file instead.

Does transcription work offline?

Yes, after the transcription model is installed. Downloading the model and books from connected sources requires an internet connection.

Can I listen while Audimore is transcribing?

Yes. Playback remains independent while captions are generated progressively from the beginning of the audiobook.

Where is the finished transcript stored?

Audimore keeps its working transcript in local app storage and exports a VTT copy to the writable folder you select.

Read while you listen. No ebook required.
